If you are on this page, then you know what self-hypnosis and immersion technique are. But for the rest of us, we need to explain a little what self-hypnosis is, how you can work with it and what you can use it for. But more on that below. A description of the technique itself is also below. If you need the equipment itself, scroll below.
What is self-hypnosis?
Self-hypnosis is a state between sleep and wakefulness. It is also called meditative. In this state, it is easy to use the resources of your subconscious, such as positive suggestions, psychotherapy, intuition, etc.
In a state of self-hypnosis, you can program yourself to have positive experiences. For example, with the help of the power of the unconscious, you can easily give up bad habits, lose weight, find meaning in life, and so on. The unconscious has an unlimited resource, and most importantly, it always wants to help us.
That is, any problem that you want to solve with the help of self-hypnosis, the unconscious will solve if you ask it to do so. If you don’t ask, then the decision won’t be made. Imagine that your unconscious is like a powerful computer that just needs to write a program and it will easily execute it. But the question is, how to write a program correctly? More on this below.
For what purpose can it be used?
Self-hypnosis has enormous potential. With the right direction, these opportunities allow you to perform real miracles, changing a person’s personality and physical potential for the better, improving his emotional state and allowing him to achieve his goals. But self-hypnosis can be both positive and negative. Used unconsciously in our lives, it can have a bad effect on us.
This is how the mechanism of self-hypnosis is often introduced into your consciousness by the words of others. Of course, we cannot attribute our failures and mistakes entirely to other people, since until we internally approve of other people’s attitudes, they will not be able to translate into reality.
But just in case, you should stay away from people who convince you that you are nothing of yourself, that you cannot achieve something or learn something. They block the channel for you to achieve what you want and program your personality to be completely negative.
Using self-hypnosis for self-confidence and success, you will protect yourself from aggressive external influences and gain complete control over your life. Do not forget that your life is a real miracle, you are a unique and inimitable person. You need to instill this in yourself, allow yourself to become happy, loved, rich, successful - choose the one you need from this list. And an organism programmed for success will be able to cope with the task within the limits of the capabilities it possesses.
Eliminate any doubts from your subconscious by performing self-hypnosis. After all, it is sincere faith that plays a huge role in this process. When formulating what we want, we are not talking about reality, but only about the desired result, but this is done in real time. Our consciousness does not understand such concepts as “yesterday” or “tomorrow”; it works only on the principle of “here and now”.
You will learn more about self-hypnosis from the following video:
What can self-hypnosis be used for?
Everything is the same as what I wrote above, but here’s a little more detail. I believe that a person is a little understudied in terms of the psyche and his resources. I am sure that a person has all the strength to become more successful, richer, has self-healing skills, spiritual past lives (if you believe in them).
Let me tell you about my experience, why I used self-hypnosis. I remember once I lost the TV remote control, I couldn’t find it for half a year. Not at all, I remember the last time I used it and that’s it. And then he just disappeared.

And so, I lie down on the bed, set the program to find bullets from the chick and the faster the better, I enter self-hypnosis for 30 minutes, completely switch off (yes, you can go deep like that), leave the meditative state and simply forget, and a week later I find my remote controller. Why in a week, I don’t know, but our unconscious needs time to rearrange the universe a little.
I really love self-hypnosis to quickly restore strength if I’m tired or haven’t slept much. In 30 minutes of rest, you feel as if you slept for 2-3 hours. For one thing, you can solve the problem while you are in self-hypnosis.
Blood pressure control? Yes Easy! We all experience changes in internal pressure and, accordingly, this makes us feel, to put it mildly, not very good. In self-hypnosis, you can ask your unconscious to equalize the pressure and improve your well-being.
I will warn, of course, that although working with the unconscious is a powerful tool, it is not a substitute for classical treatment.
The most important thing to work with the unconscious is psychotherapy. Healing from childhood traumas, I believe, is the most painstaking work on oneself if a person wants to achieve success, wealth and everything he wants. After all, if we don’t let go of everything that pulls us down from the past, it will be difficult to rise up.
Through communication with our inner self, it is easy to understand what we need. The main thing is to learn to listen to yourself, communicate with yourself, trust yourself and all the trump cards are in our hands.
Here we can describe for a long time why the unconscious can help us, but this is too long, we ourselves have plenty of resources, so we can experiment a little.
Who introduces negative attitudes into our consciousness?
No one is born with negative attitudes and mental images, so where do they come from? Why do people start thinking that they are losers?
There are several main sources of negative suggestion:
- Parents. Many parents spoil the psyche of their children, and without meaning to. The main mistake that mom and dad make is comparing their child with their peers not in his favor. There are also constant reproaches for “wrong” actions; they often take out their own disappointment on the child.
All this is deposited in the subconscious and makes a person feel inferior, doubt his own strengths and capabilities. Negative attitudes from childhood are transformed into adulthood, and it becomes difficult for a person to make decisions and take responsibility for his actions.
- Negative past experiences . Bad experiences in the past also contribute to the formation of a negative attitude towards what they were associated with. The image is fixed in the subconscious that if nothing worked out the first time, then all subsequent ones will also be unsuccessful.
For example, in a relationship you encountered betrayal, which resulted in severe psychological trauma. As time passed, you moved away from the experience and entered into a new relationship. But at the subconscious level, you are now trying to convict all your new boyfriends of cheating. You suffer from doubts, even if they are groundless, you create scenes of jealousy, all the time waiting for life to throw you another trick.
How to program yourself before self-hypnosis?
The main rule is to be specific about what is needed. If you need to get up at 6.37 am, then ask yourself “I will get up on the morning of October 6, 2021 at 6.37 am.” You can’t ask yourself abstractly, like getting up earlier tomorrow. The unconscious needs a measure, such as date, quantity, exact time, color, additional parameters.
For example, a person has a request: I want to become a little richer. How much richer? For 1 ruble? So he became richer, all the requests were fulfilled. But if so, I become richer by 100,000 rubles, this is already specifics and the unconscious understands such specifics.
It is also necessary to abandon the word I want, simply because you can want all your life, replace it, for example, with I receive.
And also, it is necessary to write down the request in the present tense, no future or past, only here and now. Example, I am getting married to a blond man, 190 cm tall, weighing 95 kg, IQ 110, within 1 year from now. This is how our unconscious understands.
In short, before plunging into self-hypnosis, say to yourself exactly what you want, you can write it down on paper and read it. The unconscious will understand everything.
Reasons for low self-esteem
Upbringing
Sometimes the origins of low self-esteem are found in childhood: when raising a child, parents introduce pathological attitudes into his worldview about his “worthlessness,” “insignificance,” or “ugliness”: “if you don’t lose weight, you won’t get married,” “look how Svetka studies well.” , and you’re stupid”, “don’t grab stars from the sky”, “this is too tough for you”, etc. Constant criticism of a child and comparison with others is the best soil for the formation of low self-esteem.
Failures
Often this picture of the world is reinforced by a series of failures, which reinforce the position “I am worse than others.” A failed exam, an unsuccessful date and “black streaks” happen to many people, but for a person with a picture of the world “I’m not capable of anything,” such events become a kind of confirmation of this attitude.
Social environment
The society into which a person finds himself plays a significant role. In a school class there is almost always a scapegoat, an outcast who is chosen by the team. But as they grow up, people find themselves in situations in which they become the object of criticism from the team or boss, which also affects their self-esteem.
Defects in appearance or health
People with physical disabilities or serious illnesses almost always have low self-esteem, this is due to ridicule from other children at school or the playground, and sometimes from their own family.
Other reasons
Sometimes low self-esteem is formed at a conscious age: with prolonged communication with manipulators, with perfectionism, with unexpected loneliness, developing chronic or mental illness, etc.
For ease of understanding
Look, a person has different senses to understand the designation: visually we designate it as B (V), we call everything we hear auditorily A, and we call all other olfactory and tactile senses kinesthetics K.
Psychologists would NOT want you to know these secrets about yourself
—Imagine this situation...
What if, instead of paying for years for useless consultations with a psychologist, in 21 days you can work with yourself? Get rid of negative thoughts and states forever. And instead live a calm and happy life? Stop living in stress due to relationships or constant lack of money?
Tell me this is impossible?
I thought so too, until I started working with myself
LIVING HAPPY IS EASY
My name is Ivan, I am 35 years old, and I have been practicing psychology for 15 years. I have studied all the basic methods and techniques through which I help people find happiness. NLP, hypnosis, body-image therapy. I was invited on television as an expert.
And it was... just a nightmare!
I lived in a state of depression for 7 years (constant stress exhausted me). I had a lot of low self-confidence (my self-esteem was below 0). I could not calmly communicate with people, it seemed to me that I was not worthy of them.
The relationship did not work out (because I was very negative, jealous, a doormat). I’m generally silent about decent earnings; I earned 15,000 rubles a month and thought that was the limit. I didn’t want to live... Envy.
The worst thing is, I thought I would have to live like this forever, and I don’t deserve love and happiness.
But it only got worse, negative states fell on me like a snowball. It felt like I was sitting in a deep, black hole from which there was no way out. Hopelessness, despair, pain, resentment.
My life has turned into endless torture. But then a miracle happened...
I FOUND THE KEY... EVERYONE HAS IT...
One day my father came home from work, a little drunk, although he never drank much.
He came into the kitchen..., looked at me with a dissatisfied expression and began to say with anger how worthless I was, how I couldn’t do anything, and in general, how sorry he was that he was my father.
At first I felt severe mental pain (this is very painful to hear from my family). Then I got offended (does that mean I’m not a favorite son?!) And then an insight came to me...
I received that magical kick that I had been waiting for all my life. It changed my thinking, my life and my relationships with my environment.
I had already forgiven my father simply because he told me the truth and I was happy about it!
But then the most interesting thing began...
Literally 5 minutes later I was already sitting at the computer and writing out all the psychological (!) methods of working with myself.
I was even confused, because my plans were to continue to suffer all my life.
It was such an incredible feeling of freedom and desire to do something that I burst into tears of happiness.

Signs of low self-esteem
A person with low self-esteem:
- focused on other people's opinions about himself, he daily compares himself with other people: his appearance, achievements, interests.
- Inside the head of such a person there is a swarm of thoughts about his low value: “I probably won’t succeed,” “what will they think of me,” “they definitely won’t accept me,” etc.
- often uses the words “not sure”, “impossible”, “hardly”, etc.
- doesn't know how to refuse people
- makes excuses in response to compliments
- constantly apologizes, even if the situation does not require it.
The simplest self-hypnosis technique (diagram)
Now to the actual matter. Now I will briefly describe the essence of the matter, and then in more detail.
We need to load our senses in order to distract our consciousness so that the unconscious will take over and we can communicate with it.
Before the dive we say the following phrase: dear unconscious, I enter a state of self-hypnosis for exactly 30 minutes in order to solve my problem (here you describe the problem you want to solve, how to formulate the problem, described above). ALL.
We get comfortable and don’t move. We find 3 visual points, look at one for 10-20 seconds (no need to count to yourself, the time of concentration on a point is not important, just look until you get tired), at the second for 10-20 seconds, at the third for 10-20 seconds. Don't rush, there's enough time. When to move your gaze from one point to another, you will understand intuitively.
Next, we concentrate on any first sound (heartbeat, noise outside the window, the computer is running, neighbors are talking) for 10-20 seconds, move on to any second sound for 10-20 seconds, to the third for 10-20 seconds. There are no problems with sounds; we are constantly surrounded by many sounds.

Next, we move on to kinesthetics: we transfer our attention to any touch, for example a chain, presses on the neck for 10-20 seconds, the hand feels the sofa for 10-20 seconds, the taste of saliva for 10-20 seconds.
We are transferred again to the visual points, but this time to two, not three. We look at one point for 10-20 seconds, at the second point for 10-20 seconds.
We turn our attention to sound 1 for 10-20 seconds, sound 2 for 10-20 seconds.
We turn our attention to kinesthetics, 1st sensation 10-20 seconds, 2nd sensation 10-20 seconds.
We return again to visual points, look at one point for 10-20 seconds
We hear one sound for 10-20 seconds
We feel one thing for 10-20 seconds.
Why is it important to work on low self-esteem?
A negative image of oneself can lead to a constantly depressed mood, to the appearance of physiological unpleasant reactions (increased heart rate, sweating, hand tremors, etc.), to a decrease in self-confidence and self-esteem, to a loss of hope that a person himself can change the situation and his life in in general. Low self-esteem is a maintaining factor in mental illness. Most often, low self-esteem is present in social phobia, body dysmorphic disorder, depressive disorder, eating disorders, etc.
CLOSE YOUR EYES!!!
Now everything is the same, but we imagine it.
We visualize any 1 item. Apple, car, Keanu Reeves 10-20 seconds
We remember any sound, meowing, a cow mooing, a dog barking, the voice of a favorite actor for 10-20 seconds.
We imagine any sensation, for example, how the wind blows in your face for 10-20 seconds.
We return to the visual, imagine 1 any object for 10-20 sec, 2 any object for 10-20 sec
Imagine any 2 sensations for 10-20 seconds.
And again we return to the visual part, present any 3 objects in turn for 10-20 seconds
Any sounds in turn for 10-20 seconds
Any 3 sensations in turn for 10-20 seconds.
Usually people fail here already. But in reality they just dive very deep. If before entering self-hypnosis you programmed yourself for the duration of the session, for example 30 minutes, then you will wake up exactly 30 minutes later. Marvelous.

conclusions
Most often, self-esteem is formed in childhood and consolidated during the formation of personality. Low self-esteem prevents a person from realizing his full potential in life, being confident in his uniqueness, and accepting his characteristics and shortcomings.
Remember: it is impossible to increase your self-esteem by complimenting others. Compliments are an assessment of others, even if people highly evaluate a person, he may have low self-esteem because he is not able to evaluate himself objectively. The most effective way to increase self-esteem is psychotherapeutic work with a person’s automatic thoughts and deep-seated beliefs.

Coming out of a trance state
It’s not so difficult to learn self-hypnosis on your own, but to get yourself out of it, without consequences for your own well-being. Relaxation techniques have been invented by various practitioners to enable the body to emerge from trance rested, alert, full of strength and energy. We need a setup that will allow us to get out of the state of hypnosis without any problems. For starters, it could be a timer set for a certain time. At his signal, the body and consciousness should immediately return to physical reality.
The technique of self-hypnosis can look intimidating when first mastered. Coming out of trance will not be as fast as you would like. The brain should wake up and work in standard mode.
Hypnotic sleep or deep trance requires time to recover. This usually takes up to 30 minutes.
From the author
These methodological recommendations are intended both for specialists (psychiatrists, psychotherapists, clinical psychologists interested in teaching their patients methods of psychological self-help) and for people who want to learn how to manage their internal state and understand the secrets of self-management.
When I started practicing psychotherapy more than 30 years ago, the main method of mental self-regulation was autogenic training. The basic elements of the technique were muscle relaxation training and self-hypnosis. However, the duration of training for this procedure, its emotional unattractiveness, combined with the monotonous pronunciation of suggestion formulas and intellectual complexity repelled patients from it. The desire to give a sick person a method of immediate psychological self-help drew our attention to the method of self-hypnosis. The new technique quickly gained popularity and was accepted and recognized by the majority of patients, and a quarter of a century of experience in using this technique confirmed its high effectiveness.
