The desire to become an insensitive person is not uncommon among both young people and older generations.
The main reason is the reluctance to experience pain from betrayal and insults, which can cause mental trauma and negatively affect self-esteem.
In fact, the path to a minimum amount of emotions is not easy, but in this article we will look at ways in which this can be achieved.
Learn to say "NO"
How often do people ask you for help?
How often do you answer “No”? Perhaps you are one of those people who, at the first request, will drop everything they are doing and will solve the problems of colleagues, acquaintances, and friends? Then everything is bad. You urgently need to change your life! Learn to say “No” if it is not beneficial for you. Learn to refuse, even if the person really needs help. After all, it's not your problem, right?
But there is one more point to consider. Suppose you did help the person, what next? Perhaps you will experience strong positive emotions from the fact that you did a good deed and helped a person. But do you need it? After all, it is possible that feelings will cause attachment to a person, or the person will be very attached to you. Such “joy” is of no use to a cold-blooded person. Mind your own business, and if it is not beneficial to you personally, always refuse help.
But do you need it?
But think carefully, do you need it? Is the game worth the candle? Perhaps you were offended, touched to the quick, or acted wrongly? But is it worth becoming insensitive just because of this? We often think about this when we feel bad. But when we really feel good, no one thinks about how to get rid of the feelings that overwhelm us? No one is trying to suppress pleasant memories, is they?
Perhaps it is better to just reconcile and forgive your offenders. Time cures. Look at everything differently, from the best side. Look how much good there is around, how many good, pleasant people, how many opportunities to change your life. Don't go to extremes right away.
Cultivate selfishness
An insensitive person should not care about anything. Stop paying attention to the events that happen in the lives of friends and loved ones, stop taking part in improving their personal lives, and so on. Again, this is none of your business. In the end, you will be indifferent to everything, you will develop an egoist in yourself, the world will revolve only around you.
It will be difficult at first, but conscience and shame will quickly leave you. Do only what benefits you, make contacts only if you need them, look down on people and go over their heads. Nothing should stop you from achieving your goal. Especially if it’s someone else’s problem. This doesn't concern you.
Lack of attention
The second rule is not to pay attention to anything. Neither for people, nor for any events. Forget about holidays, about relatives, about friends. Sometimes it is enough to fail to congratulate someone on their birthday once for you to be considered cold-blooded.
Yes, it will be difficult at the very beginning. Especially when your favorite holiday comes or some bright, joyful, emotional event occurs. But you should not just ignore it, but meet it with complete indifference. Until you learn this, you will not become an insensitive person. After all, such people usually rarely show their emotions. Most often, their faces show complete indifference to everything.
Suffer again and again
It’s worth mentioning right away that this method works differently for different people, and can either make you insensitive and indifferent, or send you into a protracted binge.
It is not because of a good life that people are looking for opportunities to become cold and insensitive. Do you agree? After all, something or someone probably touched you to the core? Apathy towards the source of pain and suffering appears immediately. But this state should be prolonged as much as possible, returning to memories again and again, experiencing everything again from the very beginning. Don't try to forget everything, suffer. Over time, your sensitivity to the situation that hurt you so much will become less and less. And what was the cause of suffering a month or two ago will today make you feel completely indifferent. Over time, you will get used to this state, and it will become completely natural for you. And if history repeats itself in the future, it will no longer hurt you.
By the way, have you ever thought about the work of a doctor, or a morgue employee? What about the fate of the military? They face pain and suffering every day. They literally immerse themselves in them and quickly get used to them. Over time, many people get used to the pain and no longer notice the suffering of other people. With such work, you will definitely no longer be touched by tears, prayers, or the suffering of others. This is one of the most effective ways to become an insensitive person.
Mute people: reasons for silence. Language of the dumb
Deaf and mute people are not such a rarity in the human community. According to statistics, 0.4 percent of the total population of the Earth suffers from this defect. Much less common are mute people who hear and understand speech, but are unable to respond. And this phenomenon is much more interesting than the absence of both the ability to hear and the ability to speak.
Deafness and its associated factors
From a medical point of view, it is wrong to wonder why people are born mute. To put it precisely, all children are mute - they don’t know how to talk. And sounds are made by almost every living newborn. Speech is a secondary skill that develops as a result of information received through hearing. And if a child is born deaf, then as a result of its absence, over time he becomes completely numb, that is, he stops making even meaningless sounds. Thus, dumb people are not born dumb, but become dumb. But deafness can also be congenital. Moreover, even if it cannot be cured, and the hearing aid is not able to compensate for deafness, a person can still be taught to speak - there are special techniques.
Mute people: reasons for the inability to speak
We have already come to the conclusion that dumbness is always acquired. Moreover, it can overtake a person at any age. And various factors can cause it. Mute people lose the ability to speak under the following circumstances.
- Brain damage. It can be traumatic or physiological. Most often, muteness is caused by a blow to the head in a certain area, brain cancer or hemorrhage into the brain. Patients with autism are often speechless, even though they can hear everything.
- Defects of organs responsible for speech. These could be ligament injuries or deformations due to some disease. A variant of tongue paralysis is a real possibility - just remember Sylvester Stallone, whose tongue was partially paralyzed, but his speech was very slurred until the actor began to intensively develop it. It is probably not worth mentioning the deprivation of this organ - such an outcome is very unlikely.
- Mutism. A psychomotor type disorder, as a result of which a person stops speaking. It is caused by severe stressful situations or concussion. Mute people understand the speech addressed to them and react to it, but they themselves are not able to overcome silence. In this case, muteness can be selective - for example, it affects only men, while a person speaks freely with women. Treated with disinhibiting techniques.
If the ability to speak is completely lost and cannot be restored, writing and the language of the mute can help a person communicate. True, only specially trained people can understand the latter.
The language of the dumb is not at all the same as the gestures that people use to communicate with foreigners. In this case, sign language is poor and narrowly functional, while those deprived of the ability to speak need a rich vocabulary capable of conveying both artistic images and mathematical terms.
The first sign language appeared in the 18th century: Germany and France opened deaf education centers. The basis of nonverbal speech was natural gestures that spontaneously arose in small-town communities of the deaf.
In Russia, the first center was created in 1806, in the city of Pavlovsk. It used the experience of French teachers of the deaf; The Moscow school, opened half a century later, was guided by the developments of the Germans. As a result, modern Russian education of the deaf is a symbiosis of these two schools.
The language of mutes is unique to most languages and requires translation in much the same way as verbal speech. Attempts to create a universal version failed, just as Esperanto failed.
Dactyl alphabet
The development of sign language began with the finger designation of letters. The first developments in this regard date back to the 16th century. Nowadays dactyl is not considered a language. It is used as a sign alphabet for transcribing unfamiliar words, proper names, prepositions, interjections, and more.
Silence is not a death sentence
And even more severe injuries and conditions cannot become an obstacle to a full and rich existence. An example of such vital activity is the Englishman Stephen Hawking, a famous astrophysicist and theoretical physicist. In the prime of his creative and physical powers, the scientist began to develop a specific type of sclerosis, which caused paralysis. And after a tracheostomy, which became necessary due to severe pneumonia, he also became mute. Only the fingers on the right hand remain mobile. He controls them with a specially designed chair and a laptop, which has become his voice. In the end, he was completely paralyzed, and controls the equipment with the movement of the facial muscle - the only one that has retained mobility. Such restrictions did not plunge the physicist into depression: he is a professor at Cambridge (in a position once occupied by Newton), in 2007 he flew in zero gravity on a special plane, and in 2021 he became a co-author of a project to send research vehicles to the star Alpha Centauri.
Not everything is given
Just take your time. First, think carefully about whether this is how you want to rid yourself of emotions. They are often more difficult to restore than to eliminate. By the way, not everyone is given the gift of being insensitive.
Remember: few people experience a true absence of emotions. Usually cruelty and composure are in a person’s blood. If there is a predisposition to these traits, then solving our today’s issue will be easy and simple. Otherwise, you will literally step on your own throat and your internal structure.
Often sympathetic, kind people think about how to become an insensitive person. And not vindictive. They will have to work very seriously on themselves. As practice shows, such people are not able to really bring the idea to life. Only for a while. And then there will be a feeling of guilt inside. But true composure does not allow this.
Full control
Here is the golden rule that you should always remember. If you want to understand how to become emotionless, you need to take control of all your emotions. How exactly to do this? There is no exact algorithm here. Just a few tips.
First, choose a profession that forces you to suppress your emotions. For example, a doctor. There they will be able to teach you some things that will help bring our today's idea to life.
Various psychological courses and trainings are also a good way to control emotions. They are called “Emotions under control.” True, they teach more to restrain negativity. But similar principles can be interpreted for positive feelings.
In the end, try to keep everything good inside yourself and suppress it. Think: “Everything is bad.” And repeat this to yourself constantly. Even if everything is just great. Sooner or later you will notice how you have learned to control your emotions. In this case, all that remains is to always maintain a stony, emotionless face when communicating.
This is all. Just before you become cruel and insensitive, think carefully about whether you really need it. It will be more difficult to regain your emotions. Pain is always easier to endure than to drown out.
Let's say no to help
A very interesting fact - refusing to help someone instantly makes you a cruel, bad person. Even if you really are simply unable to help or refuse for some specific, justified reasons. This means that in order to figure out how to become an insensitive creature, you just need to not help people. That is, in general. Absolutely. Even in small things. Remember: helping is very unprofitable. Especially close people. They often demand things from you that will cause you harm. In addition, practical help awakens positive emotions. And this is of no use to you. After all, the main task facing you is to completely get rid of emotions.
Please note that you must always refuse. And even if help is vital. Initially this will not be easy. But over time you will get used to it. By the way, very often such a step makes life much easier. You will not do anything to the detriment of yourself.
Adviсe
- Don't be upset if your friends think you're cold and carefree. This means your strategy is working!
- Don't try to radically change. You can still enjoy your hobbies, such as sports or anything else that interests you. Just try not to show too much emotion.
- Don't try to vent your emotions by hurting yourself. On the contrary, it will make you even more emotional because people will see how it affects you.
- When you want to say something, keep it short and to the point.
- If people start asking you, “What's the matter?”, you can answer briefly, “Nothing” or “I'm just tired,” and if the other person doesn't believe you and starts asking you more, just change the subject.
Mirroring
Are you often bullied? Or maybe you are simply succumbing to eternal emotional tyranny? Gain strength and courage...and mirror your behavior. Don't be afraid to touch the nerves of your offenders. However, like all other people.
What does it mean? Treat your offenders the same way they treat you. It doesn’t matter who it is – a relative or just a friend/acquaintance. Take people who hurt you as an example. They are usually just perfect role models. After all, the ability to touch a nerve is a good skill for a cruel person.
What to do with those who communicate with you with kindness and friendliness? Mirroring will not help here - it is a charge of unnecessary positive emotions. Therefore, just follow the example of your offenders: try to distance yourself from such individuals, constantly tell them something offensive and unpleasant. Over time, this will become a habit for you.
Cultivating selfishness
From childhood we were taught that selfishness is a very bad quality. Children are taught to share their toys or even give them to semi-familiar playmates in the sandbox, because “you need to share” and “are you greedy?”
The same goes for delicious food that I wanted to eat myself, and not give more than half to my parents or brothers/sisters. This is how individuals grow up who are always ready to sacrifice their interests in order for society to consider them good.
Unfortunately, this approach does not allow you to fully enjoy life, because playing in public takes a lot of energy.
Reference! Many begin to feel ashamed of their reluctance to help relatives and mentally torture themselves. If you recognize yourself in these lines, stop this violence right now!
Selfishness is a completely healthy concern for oneself and one’s interests, which should be accepted as an axiom. From now on, answer a firm “No” to any request for help that you don’t want to satisfy!
If the person asking is not part of your family, don’t even explain the reason for the refusal. It will be difficult at first and you will feel anxious about what people think about you. But over time, only the feeling of freedom and happiness will come from the fact that now every minute of life belongs to you personally!
Spend the time that will be freed up only on yourself:
- engage in self-development,
- take yourself to new cafes and feed yourself delicious food,
- buy quality care products,
- Don’t skimp on self-education.
After some time, you will understand that by helping everyone around you, you were trying to earn the approval that you can give to yourself.
Unlucky day
Sometimes the reason some people get angry is simply a bad day. For example, a person overslept, so he is a little late for work, then spilled a cup of coffee on his new suit, got stuck in an elevator, etc. Can this day be called a good day? Perhaps the second half of the day will be the happiest in recent times, but the “victim” does not know this yet. So it turns out that he begins to “take his anger out” on everyone who comes to his hand. Of course, not all people do this, but only those who cannot control themselves. But we must admit that each of us has moments when our nerves simply give out (especially if the troubles drag on for a long time). Therefore, you should treat rude people condescendingly, since at this stage they have problems, not you.

Example in life
An insensitive individual can live in abundance without noticing disadvantaged people. He will easily ignore someone else’s misfortune and will have no problem finding an excuse for himself, considering it none of his business.
Outwardly, a person endowed with insensitivity gives the impression of a balanced person. This allows him to easily endear himself to others and produce a person with peace in his soul. However, an insensitive person will immediately reveal himself when sympathy, lively participation, and compassion are needed, but this person will not show this in a critical situation. For this reason, a person’s insensitivity will cause rejection, misunderstanding, and irritation among others, since society values sympathetic and attentive people. Therefore, loneliness is often the companion of an insensitive person. Insensitivity is dangerous because it leads to isolation, heart fossilization, and isolation.
An insensitive person is not interested in what is happening around him or his attitude towards him as something boring, ordinary, gray. He is not familiar with the feeling of compassion, participation, pity. There are no compromises in his life. Such a person has a tough character. At one time, he realized that life is much easier for indifferent people. Such individuals are not bothered by situations that cause ordinary people to suffer and worry. Other people's troubles do not bother them because they have a low sensory threshold. Pursuing only their goals, they move through life literally “over their heads.” Indifference and selfishness protects them from stressful moments and worries.
Problem
An indifferent attitude towards people creates many problems. The first of them is the elementary loss of loved ones and friends when their needs are ignored. Indifference makes a person cold and calculating, which is not conducive to the development of friendly relationships.
Within the framework of insensitivity to other people's troubles, this state gives the right to other people in the future to ignore the difficulties of a person who was previously indifferent to them.
Also, this process forces a person to lower his moral and ethical qualifications , reducing his critical attitude towards immoral and wrong actions.
Within the framework of professional activity, indifference can become a reason for rapid emotional professional burnout.
Some professions are directly related to a person’s ability to empathize, for example, a doctor or a teacher.
How does a person become insensitive?
When does frankness turn into rudeness? Do people have the right to make unpleasant remarks about the personality of the interlocutor? Why do some people feel they have to speak their mind? Why do they criticize and give unwanted advice?
According to published psychological research, such explicit comments can be attributed to aspects of people's personalities that fall into the established five-factor model.
The model assumes that an individual's personality includes the following five independent traits: extraversion, agreeableness, neuroticism, conscientiousness, and openness to experience (intelligence).
Psychologists believe that the area of extraversion is most relevant to understanding what causes people to become overly committed to their beliefs. Aspects in this area include self-confidence (dominating and being the center of attention), sociability (enjoying the company of others), positive affectivity (fun and enthusiasm), and experience seeking (enjoying intense sensations). This means that high extraversion in some aspects reflects the quality of excessive frankness.
You can combine enthusiasm and assertiveness into one group that creates this impatient person who makes potentially intrusive personal comments.
So, extraversion can lead people to develop frankness that turns into insensitivity. This happens because people with high levels of extraversion turn their outgoing nature into antagonism and a desire to overcome others. Other people are outraged by this.
Also, insensitive people may be more likely to seek excitement and may not be able to suppress expressions of emotion. Narcissism may be part of the psychopathology of people with high levels of extraversion, who feel entitled to express their opinions without tact.
Thus, returning to the basic question of why people are insensitive and who become annoyingly outspoken, researchers believe that it is people with high levels of communal extraversion who will push the boundaries of decency, perhaps out of the belief that their opinion is always correct, and therefore they should share it freely.
So, an insensitive person is not interested in the problems of others. He is so self-sufficient and self-confident that he is comfortable dealing only with his own problems. He has no need for other people and has no desire to understand the feelings of other people, to be imbued with their experiences. At the end of life's journey, it is possible that such individuals will awaken something human in their souls. Their personal arguments will no longer work and they realize that after living an isolated existence throughout their lives, they are left completely alone.

Return to suffering
The first rule that can help is to return to your suffering. Every person has some memories that bring pain or great resentment. These are the ones you will have to turn to in your subconscious every time you are overcome with positive emotions.
It usually becomes very painful to experience negative moments at first. But at one point this feeling disappears. And you stop caring. Once you achieve this, it will be easier to solve the problem.
Try to remember all the negative events at once, en masse. Only then can you fully answer how to become insensitive. Yes, it may seem impossible, but with continued practice, you will notice clear changes in your behavior.
Transfer to another
If circumstances are such that you have to constantly communicate with a rude and irritable boss, try to predict his reaction and avoid dangerous situations. If this does not work out, silently imagine that instead of you he is throwing thunder and lightning at someone else who is temporarily in your place: for example, at your nasty neighbor in the stairwell. When the anger subsides, the boss himself will be ashamed of his behavior and will be especially attentive to you. In addition, people who can be yelled at without consequences are usually highly valued in the team and any concessions are made to them - after all, they are so rare! Take comfort in this thought if you cannot change your boss.
Colds and how to help your baby or young child feel better
What are the typical cold symptoms in babies?
Cold symptoms in babies or young children include:
- Runny nose with clear mucus that may thicken and turn grey, yellow or green
- Stagnation
- Mild cough
- Low temperature (but not always)
How can I tell if my child has a cold and not the flu, allergies, or some other illness?
Your baby or young child's appearance and behavior may indicate that if he has a runny nose, cough, and possibly a low-grade fever, but is playing and eating as usual, he probably has a cold.

How long do colds last in toddlers and young children?
Cold symptoms usually peak on the second or third day and then gradually improve over 10 days to two weeks. If your child's cold symptoms continue for more than two weeks, or if symptoms get worse rather than better after a few days, call her doctor.
Remedies to relieve your child's cold symptoms
No medicine will make the virus go away faster, but you can help your baby or young child feel better and prevent the infection from getting worse by getting plenty of rest and drinking.
For safe ways to relieve your child's cold symptoms, check out our article on home remedies that really work, including how to make breathing easier by using saline and suctioning, and adding moisture to the air.
Is it safe to give my baby or young child over-the-counter cough or cold medicine?
It depends on how old your child is. However, research shows that over-the-counter cough and cold medications, including decongestants, cough suppressants, and expectorants, do not relieve cold symptoms in children under 12 years of age and may cause negative or even dangerous side effects. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends the following:
- Under 4 years of age: Do not give cough or cold medicines because they may have dangerous or even life-threatening side effects.
- Ages 4 to 5: Give cough or cold medicine only as directed by a doctor.
- Ages 6 years and older: It is safe to give cough or cold medicine, but follow dosage instructions carefully.
If your child has a fever and seems uncomfortable or unusually fussy, ask your doctor about giving him acetaminophen or ibuprofen.
Never give a baby or young child aspirin because it makes him or her more susceptible to Reye's syndrome, a rare but potentially life-threatening complication.
When should I call the doctor?
Call the doctor if your baby or young child has cold symptoms. and : any of the following:
- High fever (about 103 degrees Fahrenheit or higher)
- Symptoms that get worse or do not begin to improve after a week
- Dry, hacking or severe cough
- Lethargy
- Unusual moodiness or fussiness
- Poor appetite
- Vomit
- Diarrhea
Also call the doctor if your baby has:
- Signs of mild dehydration
- Signs of an ear infection, such as dermatosis or ear drainage
- Symptoms of pink eye (conjunctivitis), such as redness of one or both eyes and the lower edge of either eyelid, plus a thick discharge
- Any symptoms or behavior that bothers you, even if not specifically mentioned above
When to Seek Emergency Medical Care
If your child has signs of respiratory distress , get medical help right away (talk to your doctor, call 911, or go to emergency services):
- Turns blue
- Constantly rapid breathing
- Shaking your head while breathing
- Rhythmic grunting when breathing
- Nostrils flare when breathing
- Retraction of skin above the collarbone, between or below the ribs
- Whistling, whistling, whistling with breath
If your child does not wake up or interact , or shows signs of severe dehydration , get emergency medical help (call 911 or go to emergency room).
What can I do to reduce the number of colds my baby or young child gets?
Minimize your baby's exposure to germs and increase their protection with good health habits:
- Hand washing. Help your child wash their hands thoroughly and encourage everyone in the house to do the same.
- Stay away from people who are sick. Keep your child away from sick children and adults as much as possible.
- Cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing. Teach family members to cover their mouths with a tissue (and then throw it away) when they cough or sneeze. Alternatively, ask children to cough or sneeze into the crook of their arm.
- Keep your child hydrated.
- Keep toys clean. This is especially important if your child shares his toys.
- Avoid secondhand smoke. This may put your child at higher risk for upper respiratory illnesses, so stay away from cigarette smokers and keep your child away from places where someone has smoked. Children who live with cigarette smokers get sick more often and their colds last longer than in children who do not smoke.
- Keep your photos up to date. Vaccination will not protect your baby or young child from colds, but it can prevent more serious infections.
Why do babies and young children get colds so often?
Their immune system is immature, making them more vulnerable to disease. Plus, over 200 different viruses can cause the common cold, and your baby will develop immunity to them one at a time.
Young children, especially teenagers, grab everything, making it easy for their hands to come into contact with cold viruses. Someone who has a cold and is in close contact with your child can also spread the virus to them. Your child can get sick by putting infected fingers in their mouth or nose or rubbing their eyes. Even breathing air after a sick person coughs, sneezes or talks can spread the virus.
Your child may get sick more often during the fall and winter months because cold viruses are more common at this time of year. He also spends more time indoors in cold weather, and close proximity means viruses can be more easily passed from one person to another.
Young children typically get eight to ten colds a year, and children in day care may have even more. (When they enter elementary school, however, children who went to kindergarten get sick less often than those who did not.)

An outlet for anger
Constantly “hiding” grievances within oneself can produce the most destructive effect on the body. Therefore, choose a different tactic - try to discharge yourself. Anything that helps relieve stress and relax is suitable for this: go to the gym, sauna, take a contrast shower. You can even break dishes or beat a pillow.
Expert opinion.
After analyzing Goleman's work, psychology experts determined that the effectiveness of management activities depends 85% on EQ and only 15% on IQ. By developing emotional competence, a leader can view his own emotionality and his subordinates as a resource that can be used to increase productivity.
It is necessary to understand that EQ is not literally related to the emotionality that everyone is accustomed to. When defining it, the phrase “emotional intelligence” is inseparable. For example, an overly temperamental person may have a low EQ, while calm and outwardly unemotional people tend to have a high EQ.
When assessing emotional intelligence, the following are taken into account:
- the ability to immerse oneself in one’s own emotions, feel them, live them;
- the ability to rationally analyze one’s feelings and make decisions based on logic.
A person with developed EQ is able to maintain a balance between feelings and logic. In a critical situation, they do not give in to anger, despair, despondency, irritability, but know how to pull themselves together and make a decision or produce a result.
According to Salovey and Mayer, intelligence and emotions cannot be opposed, as many are accustomed to doing, they are closely intertwined, and a person’s success not only in business, but also in the interpersonal sphere depends on their correct interaction.
If you want to become a Superman, become one!
If you want to become a Superman, become one!
The state of the Superman cannot be learned from books. But you still need to know some laws. The main power of the Superman is the state of the psyche, and not technology, not accessories, not tools, not weapons. For the Superman there is only one attitude: the highest of truths is himself.
You can become a Superman, and no one bothers you except yourself, except your own sheepish thoughts and prohibitions.
The superman is power, true and real.
The superman must firmly believe that he is always right. Everything else was invented by the sheep for self-justification and self-deception, or by the shepherds in order to make it easier to manage the sheep.
The superman should not doubt himself. Remember the words of Krishna (translated by Professor Sementsov): “Having equalized defeat with victory, fight.”
The motto of all my training programs is: “You have to believe for it to work.” Unshakably believe in yourself, in your strengths, in your capabilities.
Superman is spirit! And therefore, one must treat any business only as self-realization of the spirit, as the fulfillment of one’s mission, and everything else is an illusion. The so-called physical reality does not exist because the whole world is given to us only in sensations, and with our departure from it the whole world will end for us.
The entire surrounding world should be perceived only as a biological mass. You should not depend on what biological objects think about your words, actions, and deeds. The most important thing for you is your own opinion, compliance with your internal code. This is why the Superman avoids controversy and never tries to prove anything.
The superman steps forward, not caring about the result, his task is to carry out the action. We live only in the spirit. Indifference to the fruits of our activities gives us strength and effectiveness.
“The body is a sheath for the blade of the spirit,” so we must always be neutral to technology, technology, and the state of any type of our activity.
The superman approaches any practical matter as an abstract idea, only critically, only rationally, only based on the interests of his own “super-ego”.
Superman is the pinnacle of development of human essence.

What does emotional competence consist of?
EQ is built on four components:
- Self-awareness . The main "ingredient". High self-awareness allows a person to recognize his strengths and weaknesses, weak and strong traits, his own needs, goals, and motives.
- Self-control . It stems from self-awareness. A person who has studied himself learns to manage his emotions. Although they are initially driven by biological mechanisms, it is quite possible to learn to take control of them. The ability of self-regulation allows you to free yourself from the “fetters of feelings.” People capable of self-control can always pull themselves together and not succumb to despondency or excessive euphoria.
- Empathy . This ability is already aimed at communication. It means the ability to understand the feelings of others, manage relationships, having knowledge of the emotions of another person.
- Relationship skills . This can also be called communication skills. Some people confuse this trait with friendliness. In part, this is correct, but we are talking about friendliness, which pursues a specific goal. It is associated with establishing mutually beneficial relationships.
Colds: stage by stage
A cold usually has several recognizable stages. Knowing these stages can help a person determine whether they have a cold or not.
Learning to recognize the stage of a cold can also help people know how best to treat symptoms at each stage and how long to wait to get a cold.
Keep reading to learn more about the stages of cold symptoms in children and adults, treatment options and when to see a doctor.
Share on Pinterest In the early stages of a cold, a person may experience a runny nose and fatigue.
Most people usually recover from a cold within 7 to 10 days, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Cold symptoms usually appear gradually, reach a peak, and then gradually disappear.
The sections below contain more detailed information about each stage of a cold.
Stage 1
One of the first stages of a cold is usually a sore throat. People may also experience:
- fatigue
- fatigue
- mild runny or stuffy nose with clear mucus
Symptoms are usually mild during the first stage of the cold and then peak over the next few days.
Stage 2
Symptoms may get worse and worse during the second stage of the cold. People may experience:
- runny nose
- congestion
- mild pain
- sneezing
- a sore throat
- fatigue
- fatigue
- cough
This is the peak of a cold. This usually occurs within 2-3 days after the first cold symptoms appear. People may also notice that nasal mucus turns white, green, or yellow during this stage.
Stage 3
Within 7–10 days, people usually begin to recover from a cold. Symptoms decrease and people begin to feel better. People may also find that they have more energy and are more able to complete normal tasks.
Some symptoms may last a little longer, up to 14 days, although they should improve during this time. These longer lasting symptoms may include:
- runny nose
- stuffy nose
- cough
Cold symptoms may vary slightly in infants and young children. Infants may have the following symptoms:

- take cough medicine to help with a ticklish cough
